Now disconnect from your wifi or any other network you are connected to (if connected) and go to the Network and Sharing center as seen below.Make sure all the cameras and your computer are currently plugged into your switch. You want to make sure that only the camera you are currently setting up is powered on. Set up these cameras one at a time to make life easier.(If you are coming from SETUP ONE above please follow instructions 1-5) SETUP TWO: This setup is for setting up multiple cameras on an independent switch (managed or unmanaged) for purposes of control (not for IP video). SETUP ONE: This setup is for one camera you are controlling with this joystick and you are using it with a switch (managed or unmanaged.) You can leave it on its default static IP address and proceed down to " SETUP TWO" below and perform steps 1-5, then proceed down to " SECTION 3, SETUP ONE". In order to allow the connection between the joystick and the cameras, you first have to make sure that the cameras are connected up to your network and on the IP range of that network. SECTION 2: Make sure your cameras are set up correctly to work with the joystick. (again this is just needed for setup and can be removed later if needed) A computer for the setup of these cameras.In most cases, cat5E will work perfectly well for this setup so there is no need to use any higher grade cable unless your environment requires it.
